Planning Ahead

When someone dies, grieving family and friends are often faced with making complicated decisions about funeral and memorial ceremonies - all of which must be made quickly and often under great emotional stress. One solution is to make these arrangements ahead of time. Our specially licensed advance planning counselors can discuss and review the options available to you, from Pre-Planning to Pre-Payment. Conventional Funeral Options

There are many choices available for what type of funeral can be held. We will work with you to develop a ceremony that meets your needs and is a meaningful tribute. Our traditional funeral service options include professional staffing, use of one of our locations for Viewing and Visitation; formal memorial ceremony; use of equipment and staff for a graveside ceremony; use of a hearse or limousine; a casket; outer burial container or alternate container; and burial, entombment or cremation of the remains. Direct Burial Options

Sometimes a simple, Direct Burial is requested. When the body is buried shortly after death, and no Viewing or Visitation is involved, Bliley's offers services that include transportation and care of the body. A Memorial Service may be held at the graveside just prior to burial, or at a later time, should the family choose.

Cremation Options

Bliley's offers several choices when planning a cremation. Prior to cremation, a Wake or Visitation may be planned - just as they are for someone who will be buried or entombed. We can also help plan other ceremony. Although a casket is not required for cremation, Bliley's has caskets available for use during a viewing. We also offer a variety of urns, and containers used to scatter or distribute ashes.

Personalization

Every person is unique, and not everyone wants the same type of funeral or ceremony. Some find comfort in family and friends, flowers, and a religious ceremony. Others find comfort in solitude and prefer simple, small private last rites with only close family and intimate friends. Memorial Services and receptions are alternatives to more traditional ceremonies. These gatherings are less formal, and may feature photographs of the deceased, memorabilia from his or her life, and other mementos. Transferring

Bliley's has many years of experience in and knowledge of the requirements needed for transferring remains from one geographic location to another. Our funeral directors can ensure that all arrangements, such as necessary legal documentation and casket requirements, are made to secure safe passage to almost any destination around the world.

Post-Service Care

We are here to serve the individuals and the families of our communities, and our service continues beyond helping say good-bye to a loved one. Bliley's has dedicated staff to assist with identifying local and national resources, grief support and administrative assistance to help when dealing with the issues that arise when a death occurs.
