OLEY, Faiz A., 70, of Richmond, passed away May 10, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Rose Oley. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Mary Ramey Oley; four children, Faiz Oley Jr. (Caroline), Sarah O. Thomas, Joseph Oley (Gina) and Helene O. Koehler (Max); 10 grandchildren; six siblings, Carolyn O. Bain (Augie), Jackie O. Dowdy (Hugh), Lyla O. Wilby (Emerson), George A. Oley (Siham), Anthony J. Oley (Julie) and Mark A. Oley (Celeste). Faiz graduated from Benedictine High School in 1961, then graduated from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy & Science in 1966. He bought Westbury Pharmacy in 1967 and parlayed it into a chain of 11 other pharmacies within the state. Throughout the community, his warm- hearted smile, benevolent nature and uncompromising generosity stretched far and wide. His professional achievements and awards reflect his dedication to pharmacy and his deep compassion for helping people. He was recognized often by his peers as a leader and icon of accomplishment. The family will receive friends 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at Bliley's-Central, 3801 Augusta Ave., where the Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Tuesday. A Funeral Mass will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Anthony's Maronite Catholic Church. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
